The Annual Food Quality & Safety Award
Sponsored by DuPont Nutrition & Health and presented by Food Quality & Safety magazine, the award honors the dedication and achievement of a North American Quality Assurance/Quality Control team that has made exceptional contributions to food safety and consumer satisfaction with a positive impact on business results.
The award will be presented at the 13th Annual Food Quality & Safety Award Presentation and Reception, a gala industry event during the 2014 Food Safety Summit in Balimore, Md.
Who should enter?
Any food processor, food service, or food retailer based in North America. It is not for vendors or consultants to the food industry.
How do I enter?
Fill out the short preliminary Food Quality & Safety Award Survey. Finalists will be notified in November 2013 and will be invited to submit a more comprehensive entry at this time. A panel of judges will evaluate each finalist's entry. The deadline for the 13th Annual Award's preliminary submissions has now expired!
What do I get if my company is selected as the winner?
You will receive a beautiful custom designed award to display in your company. We will write an article about you and your company in Food Quality & Safety magazine and join a growing list of companies that includes Hans Kissel, Mastronardi Produce, Michigan Turkey Producers, Fieldale Farms Further Processing, West Liberty Foods, Hormel, Tyson Foods, Sysco, Beef Products, Inc. Lastly, you will be honored at the prestigious Food Quality & Safety Award ceremony, sponsored by DuPont at the Food Safety Summit, MD 2014. WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT.
What additional information do you want in the comprehensive entry?
You need to provide details that back up your answer to the preliminary questions. For example: Question 1. In the last 12 months, has your company's management made a financial investment in new technology that will improve the safety and/or quality of your products? In the preliminary questionnaire you answered, Yes or No. In the Comprehensive entry you need to detail your company's financial investment in new technology that will improve the safety and/or quality of your products.
